The Brief

KINO is the editorial film magazine the market didn’t know it needed. A hybrid print-digital platform that treats cinema criticism as it deserves — with the visual intelligence of the films it covers. The brief: design a system that could hold both a Bresson retrospective and a Pixar profile without aesthetic compromise.

We built a strict six-column grid, a dual-language type system, and a photography layout that gives every image room to breathe. The result: every page feels like a frame from the film it discusses.
